Technology Conversion and Process Workflow Changes

Client Need: A regional bank was converting its core systems (DDA, Savings/CD, Consumer Loans, Commercial Loans, Mortgage Loans, CIF, and General Ledger) resulting in changes to its enterprise-wide workflow processes. New processes, capitalizing on the new technology platform functionality, needed to be developed and documented for procedures development, testing and training.

Solution: BenchMark analyzed the new systems’ functionality and developed and documented workflows that fully leveraged system capabilities. BenchMark documented end-state work workflows for each business line and identified all issues to be resolved prior to implementation.

Results: The client was provided with documentation of optimal workflows from which it could develop new procedures, testing and training. BenchMark also identified post-conversion reengineering opportunities for the client’s consideration.
