Client Need: A large mortgage technology provider wanted BenchMark to assist in the discovery and facilitation of the optimal sources of data within the companies’ and its business partners’ offerings that would set it apart from the competition and capture additional market share.

Solution: BenchMark Consulting interviewed the client’s business partners to identify and analyze critical system data points. The team facilitated two workshops with client staff and stakeholders to review the critical data point analysis, including data sources and uses, in order to develop specific optimization recommendations. Recommendations included client access to a data repository designed to enable users to access best practices to drive efficiency and limit costly rework or exception processing.

Results: Once the research was completed, BenchMark along with the internal business partners outlined a conceptual design ready to be piloted with specific clients, and BenchMark identified $2 million in potential savings for repository users and facilitated final development of the conceptual design.
