Facilities Planning
Client Need: The
payment processing and associated functions for a large national mortgage bank
was located in a multi-story office building not conducive to high volume work
processes and productivity. The client requested a relocation feasibility study
designed to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Solution: Potential sites meeting client location criteria were identified.
New site costs including labor savings associated with improved productivity
were quantified and compared to current costs.
Results: New facility options and savings were presented to the client for consideration.
BenchMark validated an estimated $700,000 in annual productivity loss in the
current facility.
