Small Business Credit Decisioning Assessment
Client Need: The Business Banking Group Management of a top 20 bank was interested in transforming its credit decisioning operation to include industry high performer attributes in order to achieve increased approval and booking rates, and enhanced customer experience.
Solution: BenchMark assessed the client’s current operations including system functionality and interfaces, policies, job functions, training and the client’s near-term technology improvement plans. The team compared these findings with BenchMark's database of high performers and industry best practices to identify opportunities for redesign related to the credit fulfillment process.
Results: BenchMark’s recommended process and policy modifications, along with the bank's proposed near-term technology improvements, provided a scalable operation for future loan volumes and resulted in identified savings of $3.2 Million.
