Client Need: The consumer lending division of a $125 billion bank sought to reduce its origination and servicing costs, position itself for future growth, as well as mitigate associated risk, by leveraging the onshore / offshore delivery capabilities of an outsourcing service provider.
Solution: BenchMark Consulting participated in the due diligence assessment of the lender's current operating platform. Based on this assessment, a target business model was designed with associated financial benefits tied to re-engineering opportunities, technology outsourcing and onshore / offshore processing delivery.
Results: Economic value equal to approximately $30 million in recurring annual savings was identified.
