Originations and Collections Organizational Design

Client Need: A multi-bank holding company wanted to achieve higher quality service standards for customers and dealers through the design of a world-class indirect origination and collections function with scalability for forecasted growth.

Solution: Interviews with senior management were conducted to better understand marketplace strategy, and investment return and growth plan objectives. BenchMark Consulting documented the current operating environment including workflows, processes and procedures. The client’s current performance was compared to that of industry peers in the Benchmark database. From that analysis, a high-level operating design was developed and client review discussions were facilitated.

Results: Annual potential savings of $1.8 million were identified from efficiencies and effectiveness gained from the adoption of the high-level operating design.
