Client Need: An international financial services firm requested assistance with the development of its small business lending program initiative. The scope included a comprehensive assessment of the processing and operational environments within the client’s US and European sites, and was expanded to include Wealth Management and the Investment, Commercial and Retail banks.
Solution: The BenchMark team identified all performance gaps between the US and European operational areas and recommended industry best practices including process, technology and vendor enablers as documented in the business case for implementation. Technology and vendor enabler recommendations resulted from a Request for Information (RFI) that the BenchMark team developed and conducted. Detailed phase one and two implementation designs included defined service levels for successful delivery.
Results: BenchMark delivered designs that allowed management to envision a stabilized, “go-to” environment that mitigated credit, reputation and operational risk and contained a 1.4 year payback.
