the Consumer Finance Division of a Top 10 Bank Holding company was looking to
evaluate its ability to reach annual growth objectives. The client desired assistance in presenting market
strategies to executive management specifically for Indirect Auto Finance,
Student Lending, and Consumer Finance.
Solution: BenchMark Consulting performed research and analysis
focusing upon evolving strategies, operational trends, functional trends and
technology trends. A three-part
executive management presentation covering the “state of the union”
and the strategic options for the three business lines was created.
Results: The client executive team prepared recommendations based upon the BenchMark findings and gap analysis and delivered the presentation to the bank’s chief executives. The recommendations enabled the executive team to generate its strategies in support of growth objectives.
