Imaging Solution

Client Need: An acquired community bank faced the challenge of achieving a 50% loan growth target increase in year one and requested assistance with development of a business case to consider the feasibility of an enterprise-wide imaging solution to relieve existing and projected space and file retention along with increasing document sharing issues.

Solution: BenchMark evaluated the existing workflows, staffing levels and technologies to identify potential for improvement from process enabled imaging technology. A financial modeling tool was developed including various cost, benefits and payback scenarios from which the business case for imaging was developed.

Results: BenchMark identified a three-year payback period based on efficiencies that would be gained in loan servicing and loan expansion cost-avoidance from image technology.
