Client Need: The Risk Management division of a $370 billion bank wanted an independent
assessment to determine opportunities for organizational and process improvements
in its Risk Management and Legal Services areas to reduce upward cost pressures.
Solution: BenchMark Consulting documented the current operating environment including workflows, processes and procedures. From that analysis, a target operating environment design was developed along with a new organizational structure, job descriptions and a staffing model.
Results: Implementation improved recovery results with reduced staffing and created centers of expertise for specialized recovery functions.
