Technology Platform Analysis

Client Need: A subsidiary of a national bank was considering new technology, but wanted an independent business case developed for the savings anticipated by converting to a new technology platform.

Solution: BenchMark Consulting interviewed senior management to understand the strategic focus of the bank while gaining their perspective on current technology operating issues and their perception of potential new technology solutions. Significant work processes and large volume transactions, that would be most affected by the new technology, were identified and analyzed and benefits quantified.

Results: The implementation of new technology enabled work process changes yielding an annual savings of $3.7 million in addition to the savings in the technology delivery operations run rate.
