Deposits Analysis

Client Need: A Fortune 500 technology company was interested in developing a “model bank” to demonstrate the features and functions of its integrated online, real-time core deposit processing system to major US banks.  The client needed to understand whether the online solutions could serve as a viable alternative to its proven batch-based system.

Solution:  BenchMark documented the features and functions included in both systems and performed a gap analysis to identify upgrades needed in the real-time system. BenchMark also documented how current clients of both systems used the features and functions incorporated in the applications.

Results:  BenchMark identified the functions that needed to be added to the real-time system, along with others that needed to be tested to ensure that they worked as designed in order for it to fully support US banks.  These were incorporated into the “model bank” development plan by the client.
